In the second quarter of 2024, the car gaming category on the Android platform saw interesting trends in user engagement and downloads. Data provided by Sensor Tower offers insights into how the top five car games performed during this period.
Payback 2 - The Battle Sandbox maintained a steady pace in downloads, starting the quarter with approximately 9K and peaking at over 11K by the end. Weekly active users began at around 59K, dipped mid-quarter, but ultimately rallied to approximately 61K.
Vehicle Masters experienced fluctuating download numbers, initially at roughly 8K, dipping to 5K, and then climbing to peak at 13K. Its active users mirrored this pattern, starting at about 43K, decreasing slightly, and then growing to peak at 56K.
Ramp Car Games: GT Car Stunts saw an upward trend in both downloads and weekly active users. Downloads increased from nearly 5K to over 6K, while active users rose from around 25K to over 30K by the quarter's end.
